Penistone Remembrance Service at Cenotaph outside St John the Baptist Church
The public are welcome to congregate from 10.30
The parade of Service Personnel, Veteran's and invited groups will begin at 10.45 from the bowling club. Any service personnel past & present who wish to take part in the parade may do so.
At 11 am a 2 minutes silence will be observed, followed by the laying of wreaths. After which the tradition of reading the names of those fallen in conflict will be read, the service will then be closed with the Remembrance service.
The public are invited to the Royal British Legion afterwards.
